Get ready to chill—Paradice EVENTS is bringing the magic of winter back to the heart of Wellington with the return of its iconic pop-up ice rink!

Opening 14 June in Wellington the rink will once again transform Queen’s Wharf  into sparkling winter wonderlands where skaters of all ages can glide under the stars.

Whether you’re a pro on the blades or trying ice skating for the first time, everyone’s invited to join the fun. The rink features a disco lights, it’s winter magic right in the middle of the city.

This year’s lineup is packed with themed nights to keep the energy high:

Student Wednesdays – Skate with your mates and enjoy midweek discounts

Skate & Date Thursdays – Romantic tunes, soft lights, and perfect vibes

Groovy Fridays – Top 40 Countdown to kick off your weekend right

Behind the Ice

Rink size: 30m x 15m

Skates available: Approx. 400 pairs.

So, grab your whānau, rally your flatmates, or bring your work crew—Wellington Ice Rink is the place to be this winter. Whether it’s a fun family day out, a romantic night under the lights, or a Friday evening filled with music and mates—don’t miss the coolest event of the season.

Adults $25

Children $20

Pre schoolers $15 (3 and 4 year olds)

Family pass $69

Student night Wednesday 7pm – 10pm $17 Student ID required

Please note: all skaters are required to wear a helmet or safety approved headband when skating and assume all risks and danger of personal injury from or related to admission to the Wellington Ice Rink. Helmets are available free of charge and skating frames can be hired for beginners.

 Please note minimum age for ice skating is 3 years old.
