WELLINGTON IS ABOUT TO GET A WHOLE LOT COOLER!

Wellington Ice Rink at Queens Wharf
Paradice EVENTS returns to Wellington this winter with the Wellington Ice Rink at Queens Wharf, running from Saturday 20 June to Sunday 19 July. Located on Wellington’s waterfront, the pop-up ice rink transforms Queens Wharf into a seasonal skating destination for visitors of all ages.
Now in its seventh year in Wellington, the event offers a winter skating experience in the heart of the city, featuring music, lighting effects, and sessions suitable for both experienced skaters and first-time visitors.
The rink measures 30 metres by 15 metres and provides approximately 400 pairs of ice skates for hire.
Throughout the season, a range of themed sessions will be held, including:
- Student Wednesdays – Midweek skating sessions with student-focused pricing
- Skate & Date Thursdays – Evening sessions with music and ambient lighting
- Groovy Fridays – Top 40 music sessions to start the weekend
Wellington Ice Rink is suitable for families, groups, students, corporate outings, and casual visitors looking for a winter activity on the waterfront.
Whether visiting for a daytime skate or an evening session under the lights, Wellington Ice Rink offers a seasonal experience in one of the city’s most iconic locations.
